PCOS

I guess I thought because I have never had anything really wrong with me that I would always be that way. That's the naive part of me saying this of course. But today went to the doctor and was told it's 90% likely that I have PCOS. My hormone levels are off the chats and for my age they shouldn't be. It would explain alot of my symptoms right now and only really started to show when I got off birth control in November. I guess we'll see in the next few months. I'm glad I can figure this out now instead of in 3 years when we want to start trying to concieve! I guess that's all. At least I'm not diabetic, but I am very deficient in Vitamin D. Well of course I am, I haven't been outside to enjoy the sun in freaking MONTHS! I'm ready for spring, summer AND fall! To enjoy walks with the dogs, mtn biking with the husband, being out on the lake this summer and getting to finally run outside again! Camping, hiking, and just putting on my sunglasses and getting some natural Vitamin D. I'll probably still be deficient but at least I can get some energy back. Stupid winter & clouds.

I'm married to a Sgt!

Basically the title says it all. Brian logged in to his MOL today (I have no idea why, I was in the living room talking on the phone with my best friend in Texas) when he ran in with the living room with his computer all he said was, "want to see something freaky" and then showed me where it says, Sgt Brian P. Fulton. Holy shock! We knew it was possible while he was IRR(Inactive Ready Reserve) for the first year to pick up SGT because you need to have a PFT on file for 1-2 years. It's pretty unreal and while it doesn't really mean a whole lot because he's IRR if he wanted to re-up to the reserves he could and quite possibly get a bonus. I'm just proud of him because he deserves it. He worked hard Active Duty. I just <3 him to death.

I guess I should update a little bit more also. Brian's doing really well in College. He even told me the other day he loves it. He's studying... ALL THE FREAKING TIME. Work is going good and getting busier. We opened our Louisville market and that should keep me a little bit busier. We finally got health insurance since August when Brian got out! I've been pretty sick lately and hoping to have some answers to that soon. Other than that not a whole lot going on in the Fulton Household. We're ready for Spring && more importantly SUMMER!!! We have tons of plans and the time and money to take advantage of it.

So for now... catch ya later!

health insurance!

I HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE, I HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE, I HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE!

YAYYYYYYY! I haven't had Heath Insurance since Brian's EAS date in August. It's like it came at the perfect time being how sick I am, that it's day 6 and I'm still not getting any better. I can officially say I carry the health insurance for our family :) Oh and being employer sponsered is fantastic! I feel so blessed.

Upper Respiratory Infection? Never had one of those.. until this winter. Boo. My eyes are dark and swollen, my nose is bright red and I can't seem to quench my thirst. Oh and I'm wheezing. We shall see how it goes, all I need is rest, rest, rest oh and fluids. Be back later.

update

So I gave up on the 30 day challenge. It just didn't do anything for me anymore. So I'm sorry I've been MIA for the past few weeks.

Brian's J-term ends tomorrow. He's got a big final for his Theatre class and then on Monday starts Sociology, English and Theology. I'm so proud of him and really think he's going to pull an A out in this theatre class. Not bad for not being in College for 6 years. Things are slowly starting to be normal again. I'm seeing a counselor, hitting the gym 4-5 days a week, eating good, changed my work schedule around and things are finally starting to become busy there. If only it was Spring and it was warmer out our life would be great. Brian and I are ready to be outside, playing with the dogs and just not be cooped up inside. We're over it! We're ready to finish up our taxes and get those sent off. We're thinking of taking a honeymoon (it only took 4 years!) and that makes me happy. More positives than negatives lately and that's quite a change from our life the past 6 months. Just need to take it a day at a time.
